I am a junior studying multidisciplinary engineering at Purdue University. I enjoy working in a team environment to tackle challenging problems. This past summer I had the pleasure of working for the ExCCL lab at Penn State as a part of their REU program. I studied the aerodynamics of ceramic matrix composite turbine vanes and utilized programs such as STAR CCm+, Labview, SolidWorks and MatLab. For four summers I’ve worked in the home remodeling and renovation industry learning the value of hard work along with various handyman skills. In the spring of 2021, I started an outdoor basketball training business for individuals or groups of children in grades K - 9. I have also coached different basketball camps, teaching children how to become a great player and an even better teammate. I've had the opportunity to develop multicultural skills through my experiences volunteering on mission trips. In the spring of 2023 I started working for the college's facilities department where I was able to assist the HVAC crew daily. Last summer I began working at Mathnasium in Toms River where I've had to opportunity to share my love for math with students in grades 3 through 10. This past year I took on roles as media coordinator for the society of physics students at Wheaton College as well as an undergraduate research position for the Vazquez Lab.
