ForeningsbutikkenForeningsbutikken i Klostergade er et seniorfrivilligcenter. Vores hovedfokus er at støtte det frivillige seniorliv i Aarhus. Vi ser det frivillige arbejde som en vigtig ressource i det danske samfund, da det bidrager til at styrke såvel det sociale ansvar som forskellige sociale fællesskaber, der samtidig er en aktiv samfundsgavnlig indsats. I Foreningsbutikken vægter vi dialog og samarbejde højt.Foreningsbutikkens primære formål er at virkeliggøre, synliggøre, støtte og udvikle det frivillige liv for seniorer i Aarhus. Five years with a lot of projects...One project lasted 3 years and was an experiment in developing a strong network and mutual social care in a local area in the city of Århus. This goal was to be acchieved through cultural and social activities and through cooperation between public employees and the civilian population. The former master of Sundhedsstyrelsen Jesper Fisker was at that time a consultant in AKF and wrote a book in which this project is recommendet : "Lokalt set - fem støttede lokalsamfundsprojekter" ( AKF forlaget 1992 )
