I've done a lot of jobs in a short amount of time. For only working in the welding industry for 3 years I've gone from a lowly laborer to a confident and certified welder. I can perform many welding processes: SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, GMAW, as well as being proficient with arc gouging and torch cutting. I started as a helper with Cummard welding, but quit when an opportunity at a larger shop, Komatsu, came up. I started out as a laborer/ helper at Komastu and used my lunch time to teach myself how to weld with flux core to a high standard. High enough for the night shift lead to bring me on as a full employee welder. There I continued to better my abilities with not only welding but with arc gouging and I became the night shifts painter as well. Out side of welding I also regularly helped other employees with their work and was often selected to help with rigging and crane operations. I was taught by the company how to drive and operate forklifts in a safe manner. After becoming disenfranchised with the company I left and went to RSI to greater expand my welding abilities and there I learned stick and tig welding. During school I became a food truck driver for Maui Wowi to help pay for my expenses.
