Throughout my college tenure, I came to discover my passion for computers and troubleshooting. Solving problems inside a PC allows me to share character. One of the most fundamental and important aspects of humans in society is social and personal harmony. With today's technology constantly expanding and changing, I utilize such a powerful and uniquely human-driven fact of life. If I can benefit off of helping someone with a issue in their PC, thus making their lives happier, then I too am happy. Outside of college, I had the gracious opportunity to intern for ~3 months at D3 Corp in West Ocean City, Maryland. Here, I became accustomed to the work space and community in which this bustling E-Marketing and Web Development company provides to the Ocean City, MD region (among other locations as well). My tasks and efforts forced me to adapt to a productive team-based mentality, along with the opportunities to shine with our creativity in mind and practice. I learned much about the community of D3, and the community surrounding me outside the office. With tasks residing on media creation (photography/video), content curation (updating/adding existing info/media/content to a website), and editing (photos/video): I was more than happy to contribute, and felt right at home! D3 Corp has a visible community inside the office that continues aiming for success in local communities alike.However, after 3 years of working off and on (retail, data entry, warehouse and factory work), and halting any means of career advancement when COVID hit, I found myself back to square one. But in the off time, I finally took the plunge and decided on the latter-half of 2022 to enroll with Sonoran Desert Institute; to pursue a field in Gunsmithing and the Firearms Industry. Now having graduated with a "Certificate in Firearms Technology - Gunsmithing", I intend to begin pushing onward towards this industry to identify just where I am meant to be. In this field, I discovered my enjoyment in maintaining firearm condition, troubleshooting, customization and modification, as well as the tools of the trade (the bare essentials, at least). Although the ~2 year course was more of a generalized exposure, the overall experience helped spotlight anything a potential gunsmithing novice may want to specialize in, or just apply themselves to further (i.e. optics and scopes, custom barrel and bolt works, Kydex holster making, etc.). This is where the path has lead me, now I seek to learn within the confines of the industry itself.
