About Carter Kramer
As a young kid my mom used to take me to downtown St. Louis to see my dad when he was on his lunch break from his office. While admittedly, we may not have the most awe-inspiring downtown skyline, as a kid I was truly amazed by the scale and complexities of the infrastructure of the city. I dreamt of one day getting to work on projects of such scale and being able to say that I was a part of the team that made those buildings possible. This wonder have never fleeted and as I have grown older I have begun my journey in the AEC world as a project engineer intern with Alberici on the Ford Kansas City Assembly Plant last summer. Learning more about the engineering world in my engineering high school classes led to my certainty that engineering was for me. Being exposed in my college and high school classes to all fields of engineering, through diverse industry units and guest speakers, I fell in love with the field of engineering in its' entirety. Thus, I enrolled in Mizzou's Mechanical Engineering program and began my journey to become an engineer. At Mizzou, I have applied myself to clubs and organizations to continue sharpening my skills outside of the classroom. My involvement within my fraternity Sigma Phi Epsilon, Mizzou Engineering Student Council, the Mizzou Engineer's Week organization, and the Mizzou College of Engineering Peer Mentor program have all helped me further my professional abilities. These experiences I have had at Mizzou make me eager to join the professional world to work alongside and, most importantly, learn from fellow engineers to start my career!
