I am currently the Sports Editor at the Madison County Journal, where I oversee the sports department, along with covering sports in the area myself. I spent the 2024 season as the radio voice of Austin Peay Women’s Basketball, in which I was the solo broadcaster for 30+ games this season. I spent this 2023 summer working as a Broadcasting and Sports Journalism Intern with the Leesburg Lightning of the Florida Collegiate Summer League, where I was the team’s beat writer and served in a mixture of play-by-play and analyst roles for over 35 games during the season. I created and owned my own website and social media page covering high school football in Tennessee from May 2020-December 2022. My media source amassed 8,000 followers on Instagram and 5,000 followers on Twitter, while also having 15 people work for us and being credentialed at three different state championships over three seasons by the TSSAA. I also served as the Sports Editor and a Sports Writer for Austin Peay State University's student newspaper, writing a variety of different pieces such as Columns, Features, Opinions, and Game Stories, and covering events such as the OVC basketball tournament. I also served for a year as the president of my fraternity chapter at APSU, Kappa Alpha Order and worked for three years as an Academic Writing Tutor at the APSU Writing Center.
