Seeking personal and employability growth, I am a rising college Freshman with the dream of joining Therapists Without Borders so that I may give aid to others by training other PTs in foreign countries. I will use my internship experience from North Texas Physical Therapy as well as my customer service experience from my volunteer work for domestic abuse victims to connect with future patients and give them the best care possible. While not working for my job and preparing to go to Collin College, I like to improve my piano-playing ability, support my mental health with meditation, etc., and play card games with others.Projected Career Plan:I will complete my Associate's degree at Collin College's Plano (Spring Creek) campus and go on to receive a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from UT Austin. For PT school, I want to go to the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, and I believe I will ultimately want to work in a small clinic like the NTPT Dallas clinic I interned for because the pacing of seeing patients is slow enough that I can actually get to know them.
