I'm a natural problem solver and always love a good challenge. Even before I decided to pursue an engineering degree, I found myself drawn to challenges, and always enjoyed coming up with solutions, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. I love designing, prototyping, and continuously improving, so I chose to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In today's world, I've realized that nothing get's done alone so I've focused on building the proper skills to foster collaboration and lead. In engineering environments that are so focused on products and processes, it's easy to forget about the people that make it happen, which is why I've built my personal leadership brand around people, holding trust and integrity as the gold standard and inspiring others. In my undergraduate career, I undertook multiple leadership positions and earned my Masters in Engineering Management at Duke as well to better develop my soft skills and management technique.My experiences have mostly been in manufacturing and new product introduction, but I am always interested in learning new skills, moving towards product management. I have a high attention to detail and am a perfectionist when it comes to writing engineering documentation and creating drawings and reports. I take great pride in my work, even the small things, and go the extra mile. I put a large emphasis on ethics, after earning a minor in Philosophy at NC State, and make sure that the work I do is in line with my morals.
