I am an award-winning (Silver Anvil) Public Relations (PR) and Industry Analyst Relations (AR) specialist with deep experience in the IT industry -- data centers in particular. I have built a business that combines strategic and tactical support on a contract basis. I typically work as an embedded communications resource providing proactive press outreach, content development, building press announcement queues, directing and managing AR programs e.g. (Gartner and MQ processes), integrating digital strategies with marketing goals, social media, and crisis management.I am a complementary fit for data center and IT companies seeking the flexibility and efficiency of PR and AR being managed on a contract basis, rather than by an agency or a fully-loaded, full time resource. I launched my services 12 years ago. My core clients have been with me for multi-year stretches and are a testament to my capabilities. QTS has been my primary client for eight years where I oversee all PR and AR activity. Another good example is Latisys (acquired by Zayo for $675 million) that benefited from my work with Gartner that significantly increased industry awareness that resulted in their first ever appearance in the Gartner MQ. For CyberWolf Technologies, a leading provider of enterprise security management software to the government market, I executed communications outreach supporting an equity financing effort that led directly to CyberWolf being acquired by Symantec for $20 million.Prior to becoming a contractor, I led all of SAVVIS’ PR and AR (full-time) for nine years during their growth period also featured their their ascension to the far right at the top of the Gartner MQ.My clients are happy to speak and provide details about their experience with me as an embedded and trusted communications resource for them.
