I was brought on to help teach the high school students in the winter percussion program. Having graduated a couple of years prior and having high-level marching and performing experience, I was sought out to help the students develop and hone their skills. This includes technique building for all marching percussion instruments, with expertise in bass drum, providing detailed visual instruction for marching basics and ability, and managing the students and how rehearsals were scheduled.
