Carter Davis, currently the senior director of content with Naylor Association Solutions, began his career in the publishing industry by contributing to a local arts & entertainment biweekly publication during his early years as an undeclared undergraduate. After discovering an aptitude for and enjoyment of writing, he pursued and obtained a bachelor's of arts degree in journalism and has been writing, editing and creating content ever since.Carter has since taken on a multitude of freelance writing and editing jobs, including ghostwriting a series of business columns for various industries, as well as providing feature stories for numerous different print and online magazines and working as a deadline copyeditor and occasional contributing writer for Paste Magazine.In August 2007, Carter accepted a position with Naylor Association Solutions, a leading publisher of trade association publications and provider of association-specific industry services; within 13 months, he was promoted to the position of senior editor and was supervising a team of other editors in addition to his duties as a managing editor for his own clients. In 2012, Carter was promoted to the position of managing editor, which saw his professional development continue.
