As Recreation Supervisor I was responsible executing for a wide range of programming. My responsibilities included overseeing summer camp, early childhood programming, the Eola Community Center childcare operation, general interest programs, and special events. Our Summer Blast Camp regularly averaged over 130 campers weekly and generated approximately $235,000 in revenue each summer.

The City of Frisco is located approximately 25 miles north of Dallas, TX and has a population of just over 200,000 residents. As Recreation Coordinator, I am responsible for implementing, supervising, and evaluating the youth programming across the city. Furthermore, I directly supervise a 5,000 square foot childcare facility. This facility is for members and guests to utilize while they are exercising at the Frisco Athletic Center. I directly oversee one full-time staff member and 20 part-time staff members who work in the childcare facility. As a part of the management team, I am responsible for being the manager on duty, which is responsible for the safety and positive guest experience for the over 1,000 daily members and visitors.

My responsibilities included overseeing youth athletics, adult athletics, leagues, tournaments, martial arts, table tennis and camps. My direct programs had 850-1500 participants per season and an operating budget of close to $200,000.

The Veterans Park District makes up five communities in the immediate western suburbs of Chicago and serves approximately 60,000 residents. As the Athletic Supervisor I oversaw a variety of recreation programs, events and camps. In total I was responsible for a $815,000 operating budget, two full time staff members and 15-30 part time staff members depending on the season. Youth athletic programming had been lacking at the Veterans Park District and as Athletic Supervisor, I led a partnership with Hot Shots Sports to bring affordable, reliable and experienced athletic programming to the youth of the community.

The Frankfort Square Park District is located in South Suburban Chicagoland and serves approximately 20,000 residents. As the Athletic Supervisor I was responsible for a $600,000 operating budget. I was responsible for supervising the park district’s athletic programming, which included leagues, developmental classes and camps. In addition, I oversaw the clubhouse operations at Square Links Golf Course and the park district’s athletic facilities at Lincoln Way North High School. Within the three departments that I supervised, I led between 20-40 part-time staff depending on the season.
