Working closely with the CEO to create the holding company, I helped develop the M&A strategy; sourced and vetted potential acquisitions; and led financial operations of five portfolio companies, including accounting, audit, reporting, HR, negotiations, and investor relations. I served as the CFO for MobileLife, Inc. and Boinc. As a result, I built a diverse mobile solutions portfolio and helped the early-stage startups weather cash challenges to create lasting revenue models.✔ STRATEGY: Designed custom plans for each company to manage cash flow and create sustainable revenue models. ✔ FUNDING: Partnered with CEO to land critical funding for holding company despite challenges in the mobile marketplace. ✔ CASH FLOW: Enabled start-up portfolio company to remain solvent until they landed their first major client-Sprint. Helped structure a performance-based contract that ensured a workable cash flow model. ✔ TURNAROUND: Served as part of a PE turnaround team to salvage a distressed mobile/electronics retailer in the midst of a $100M recapitalization. Brought them from $1M in daily losses to breakeven by rationalizing headcount, advising worst-performing stores to identify and remediate challenges, and divesting an underperforming China-based sourcing company. ✔ DIVESTITURE: Led strategic divestiture of 100+ AT&T mobile retail outlets to a $2B consumer electronics company as CFO of MobileLife, Inc.✔ NEGOTIATIONS: Negotiated product launch of SaaS-based music delivery solution, Boinc, in 3 international markets. Co-led acquisition of Boinc in a 363 sale. Negotiated $20M+ of series A, A1, and B funding for Boinc and served as the face of the company with investors. -

I rapidly assumed responsibility for the origination, negotiation, and structure of debt/equity investments between $25M and $300M; targeted and developed the strategy; and executed growth opportunities.
