My name is Carter Hicks, I graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree of general studies in Communication Studies with a minor in Business. I am currently attending Wichita State University pursing a Masters of Human Resource Management with an expected graduation in the Summer of 2025. At KU I worked with the Student Ambassadors working with prospective students and collaborating with the Office of Admissions. In 2023 I received the “Ambassador Aide of the Year” award. In the summer of 2022, I worked as a Human Resources intern at Rx Savings Solutions. RxSS is a software as a service company that helps their members find savings on their prescription drugs. I am currently working as the HR Coordinator at LMH Health in Lawrence doing all employment verifications, new hire orientation preparations and assisting in Employee Relation and Engagement projects. These experiences have helped me progress towards my goals of a career in HR and eventually obtaining my MHRM and SHRM status.
