It is my good fortune to be a part of exciting and enduring projects of local and national significance on a daily basis. My work includes specialized planning, master planning, conceptual design, public presentation and facilitation, construction documentation, cost estimation, construction administration, and even design competition. Our founders and principals have long appreciated the value of a well-rounded skill set, and our entire team is cross-trained to best serve our clients and provide a range of customized services.

SiteLine Design is a one-man firm specializing in residential landscape design and project consultation. Established in 2010, SiteLine provided me a creative outlet and artistic freedom to complement the more complex, large scale design/planning projects I typically encounter in public work.

This included further developing my writing ability, honing my Adobe skills, and strengthening my ArcGIS proficiency. My acquired experience interacting with colleagues and clients gave me the confidence to take on greater professional responsibilities. I was fortunate enough to come aboard as a landscape designer/project manager for a season to work under the owner, a seasoned veteran of the trade.My position entailed residential design as well as estimating and project management. I gained invaluable experience coordinating with clients, suppliers, and local government offices as well as supervising a crew. I have taken many projects successfully from design to construction including plantings, stonework, carpentry, and flatwork. Our work often had a design-build aspect to it which appeals to my sense of responsive design and site sensitive implementation.

My time there made me a better, stronger, more capable person. I fully expect the lessons I have learned to endure and continue to serve me as I pursue ever new endeavors.
