• Lead instructor of the junior-level Thermal Fluids Lab class.• Co-taught the senior-level Mechanical Systems Lab class.

• Characterized material properties for metals and polymers, including strain rate, temperature, and microstructure dependencies. • Developed test methods for a variety of mechanical applications, including socket structures, silicon die, flip chip packages, and integrated heat spreaders.• Validated over thirty products against mechanical performance specifications, including dynamic bending, transient bending, monotonic loading, and thermal cycling.• Performed package mechanical analysis for the 45nm (Penryn) family of products, as well as for the Blue Dolphin project (precursor to Silverthorne).• Directly trained fourteen customers to monitor motherboard assembly lines for transient loading, prepared comprehensive training materials to enable the remainder of the industry, and consulted on individual product risk assessments. • Characterized the fatigue life of riveted aluminum aircraft joints. Determined the effect of production machining variables on residual stress and on fatigue performance.

• Developed clientele of adult students.• Prepared and taught customized language lessons tailored to each student's needs.• Studied the Slovenian language.

• Developed a campus-wide preventive maintenance program, which included creating an inventory of all campus mechanical systems, developing a scheduling system, and programming automated work request software. Completed project in half the alloted time.• Created design and specification packages for bid proposals, including the connection of a large building to the central chilled water system.• Led groups of technicians in solving mechanical system problems, and followed up with customers to ensure the problems were solved satisfactorily.
