Co Leader and founder of MG's Trade and Structured Finance business, which worked in tandem with the commodity traders to structure commodity and trade related financing structures. MG was the metals trading arm of Metallgesellschaft, which was spun off and listed on the LSE in 1999. MG was a leading copper, copper concentrate and nickel merchant, and through its Financial Services division, a leading London Metals Exchange broker and market-maker.Successfully ran the group until MG Plc's sale to Sempra, which became Sempra Metals, then RBS Sempra Commodities, and lastly J.P. Morgan Commodities.The team and I exited MG to found GSTS Group.

Built a London based, global Trade & Structured Finance business at ED & F Man, along with a team which was hired from our previous employer.ED & F Man is one of the world's largest sugar and coffee trading/logistical firms with operations in tropical oils, rubber and biofuels. The firm was founded in 1783, has operations in 59 countries and has over 5,000 employees.

Hired to build Trade & Structured Finance business for the Financial Markets Group in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
