I have 20 years of overall professional working experience in SCADA Systems and Management. I have a BS in Information Systems and an MBA in Engineering Management. Starting out in Technical Support, I learned as much from the customers as they learned from me. I transitioned to Field Support where I would travel around to help customers onsite. After a few years of Contract Integration, I found a position with an international Oil Field Service company. I traveled the world assisting Drilling Rigs with their Drilling Tools control Systems. I was later promoted to supervisor for the group I worked in. As we handled legacy aftermarket support, I began to manage large scale projects of complete control system upgrades. Additionally, I managed many smaller projects that consisted of simple PLC Tool code changes. Throughout my term as supervisor, I was constantly performing various levels of business development in the form of up selling our services or providing value added work by going the extra mile or two. Part of my duties as supervisor was overseeing a diverse group of Engineers that consisted of Electrical, Mechanical, and Software. I was responsible for daily activities, resource management, job planning, and personnel performance reviews. Later I was offered a position to work offshore full time as an Electronic Technician. I decided that real world experience would benefit my career so I took the job. After 5 years of working offshore, my family decided that enough was enough so I applied for a Data Engineer position at the corporate location in Houston, Texas. This was a data logging project that was intended to study the logged data, analyze it for anomalies and flag those anomalies for further review by human handlers. Utilizing PI by OSIsoft, we were able to capture a fleet of data from our drilling vessels for analysis. The intent for this data was to migrate from a time based maintenance system to a condition based system to streamline maintenance efficiency and ultimately cut costs. In September of 2019, I joined Cameron, a Schlumberger company, as an Automation Engineer and worked on aftermarket support for legacy drilling tools and systems.
