Developing a focused, pro-active stakeholder engagement strategy for the University; raising the University's profile and fostering corporate relationships and partnerships. Role involved:• Identifying and managing key University stakeholder relationships in line with strategic aims• Engaging with high level stakeholders from leaders in industry, politicians, donors and community partners• Leading external stakeholder interactions, representing the University in the development of collaborative opportunities • Marketing the skill base and capability of the University to the private and public sectors, whilst developing greater civic, political and business awareness • Ensuring key individuals, academic and service providers were aware of the technical and practical elements of complex partnership arrangements• Liaising with the Vice Chancellor, Executive team and Senior Management on stakeholder relations and corporate communications• Leading corporate communications and matters of reputational risk

Welsh Triathlon is charged with running the sport of triathlon in Wales. Welsh Triathlon is run by a voluntary Board of Directors and is bound by its articles. Under the umbrella of the British Triathlon Federation, Welsh Triathlon has three main areas of responsibility – governance, performance and domestic. The Board of Directors manages the affairs of Welsh Triathlon to ensure that all funded money is used appropriately and reports regularly to Sport Wales

Corporate Fundraising at Wales' national Arts Centre. Creating, negotiating and auditing bespoke sponsorship packages. Managing a team handling a portfolio of over 30 sponsors, consisting of local, national and international corporate organisations. Wales Millennium Centre opened in 2004 and has already established its reputation as one of the World`s iconic arts and cultural destinations. The vision of the Centre is to be an internationally significant cultural landmark and centre for the performing arts, renowned for inspiration, excellence and leadership.I joined the Centre as Development Officer in December 2006, and was subsequently promoted to Senior Development Officer in May 2008, Development Manager in October 2009, and then Senior Development Manager in April 2012. I gained responsibility for developing and leading the corporate fundraising strategy, new business generation, management accounts and forecasting, leading a team of 2.5 account staff and maintaining exemplar standards of stewardship (with the Team achieving 90%+ renewal rate over 4 years). I was a member of the Senior Management Team, engaged in fundraising with Board members and sat on various sub-committees throughout the Centre.

Sponsorship strategy, prospecting and management support on a voluntary basis to Richard Parks' 737 Challenge, raising funds in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care; A world first expedition to climb the 7 Summits (the highest mountain on each of the world's continents), venture to the last 2 degrees of the South Pole, the last degree of the Geographic North Pole, and the summit of Everest (regarded as the 3rd Pole) within the same calendar year.

Management, negotiation and auditing bespoke sport sponsorship packages with PR support: FAW Trust's sponsorships with McDonalds, Coca Cola, Mitre and AVC; Welsh Schools Football with HSBC;Research and Sales for Ryder Cup 2010 Corporate Club Management of Millennium Stadium Charitable TrustProduction and implementation of Feasibility Studies, PR and Fundraising Strategies.Event management.
