As a recent graduate from Center for Advanced Legal Studies, I am pursuing my passion for law and justice, while building on my extensive background in emergency medical services. I have over 19.5 years of experience as an emergency medical technician (EMT), providing patient care and transport, emergency scene mitigation, and emergency communication in various settings and situations.Most recently, I worked as a case manager for the law office of Keller Postman LLC, thru LaSalle Network. There I;  Support the practice of representing clients as plaintiffs in complex litigation and serve as the primary point of contact.  Communicate and correspond with clients and maintain complete and accurate client files using case management software. Work closely with the attorney team to gather information and collaborate with team to ensure client outreach compliance.  Perform a variety of file maintenance and assist with the discovery phase of a case, and other duties assigned. Attend meetings with attorney team on updates in protocols. I have developed strong skills in interviewing, investigation, legal research and writing and civil procedure. Focused areas of law in Corporate and Business Law, Intellectual Property, Civil Litigation and Family Law. Using Microsoft Office, Westlaw, Clio and other common software used in the legal profession, which I believe will be valuable for my future career as a paralegal.
