 Reviewed all GE Wind/Solar SCADA documentation and software for discrepancies; implement engineering approved corrections for any identified issues. Acted as liaison between GE Engineering and site Customer representative on all aspects of SCADA.  Performed quality control for GE Engineering deliverables sent to site. Installed and troubleshot all SCADA software. o If an issue arises that I am unable resolve, I then worked closely with GE Engineering to find equitable solution. Troubleshot the failed component and brought the system back online.o This was done when servers, backup drives, GPS clock, firewall, or fiber optic switches failed.  Inspected databases for discrepancies and implement any last moment Engineering changes. Pulled reports for management, monitor sites for faults on wind turbines/solar inverters, and support commissioners in the field with software troubleshooting and turbine controls.  Trained customers to properly control their new GE SCADA System. Troubleshot SCADA related issues over the phone or through remote connection.

 Followed commissioning procedures with great detail, as well as perform checks for common known issues not noted within the commissioning procedure.  Followed all recommended precautionary measures to decrease the chance of rework on wind turbine generators / solar inverters. Communicated clearly with other team members to maintain coordination in an effort to reduce lost man hours, near misses, or accidents do to miscommunication. Guided team members though the necessary steps during commissioning.  Often selected to be the new commissioner trainer, and/or taught newly promoted employees to program the GE Mk VIe controller. Made the decision to repair or replace failed parts, provide advanced WTG knowledge, and troubleshooting skills to help team members with problems that they were unable to resolve. Ensured the team was working within EHS rules and regulations when performing all tasks. Wind Commissioning manager stand-in. o Normal GE Commissioning procedure mandates that the SCADA Commissioner stand-in as Commissioning Lead in the event of the Lead’s absence or relief of duty.o I fulfilled the role of Commissioning Lead for a number of weeks to months on each wind commission assignment from 2009 – 2014. o Aside from the normal duties of the SCADA Commissioner, I was responsible for the daily schedule of the entire Commissioning staff on site, which has ranged from 4 – 20 people under me. Responsible for daily reports to GE and the site owner, and ensuring that commissioning activities stay on schedule. Performed quality inspections on all work performed before the task’s official completion. Positioned as, untitled, Solar Commissioning Lead by GE project manager.o Aside from normal commissioning duties, I fulfilled managerial duties as well. o Scheduling work, filing equipment request for co-workers, maintaining EHS documentation, monitoring commissioning budget, directly reported to GE Project Manager and Customer Rep.
