As the Criminal Investigations Commander at the City of Federal Way, I oversee the operations and personnel of the detective division, which handles major crimes, special victims, narcotics, and evidence. I also served as a Patrol Commander, managing patrol, traffic, and K9 units, as well as special projects and events. I have 29+ years of law enforcement experience, starting as a Police Officer at Cheney Police Department and rising to the rank of Commander at the City of Federal Way. I have developed skills in law enforcement, public safety, and criminal investigations, managing personnel and I have received multiple awards and commendations for my leadership, performance, and service. I am passionate about protecting and serving the community, enhancing public trust, and fostering collaboration and innovation within the police department and with external partners. I am committed to advancing the mission, vision, and values I have learned with the City of Federal Way and will strive bring diverse perspectives and experiences to my team in the private sector.
