In March 2023 I accepted a position as Director, Business Development for Client First Capital. I have known Client First Capital's founder, Amar Shah, for many years going back to when he was Wealth Manager at USAA. Client First Capital has strong personal relationships with all of their clients and consistently drives results to meet each client's goals, as a result, Client First Capital has exceptional client satisfaction and retention. My role at Client First is to help grow the business and support Amar in his growth as a leader. Also, in March 2023 I turned a hobby into a career and started a position as a Bike Tour Guide for REI Co-op. I lead mountain bike and road bike tours in the beautiful desert landscape of Scottsdale, AZ. In August 2022 I retired from a 35-year career at USAA. As an Executive at USAA, I had the amazing opportunity to lead sales teams and strategies for Mutual Funds, Managed Investment Accounts, Brokerage, Life Insurance, Annuities and Health Insurance. In my most recent role I was responsible for leading sales and distribution of Health Insurance (Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage, PDP, Long-term Care Insurance, Dental, Vision, and Major Medical Insurance). In addition to having deep knowledge of Financial Advice and Financial Services products, I am also a Certified Contact Center Executive with extensive experience in contact center strategies and developing a healthy, productive and engaged contact center environment. Leading customer contact teams at USAA for over 25 years I have experience in consistently delivering world class customer service. Success is derived from hiring, developing and retaining top talent who share a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. I serve on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of Arizona. From July 2020 through June 2022, I served as the Board Chair and currently serve as the Chair of the Audit and Finance Committee. Junior Achievement is dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy. Prior to joining USAA, I proudly served in the United States Navy aboard the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson where I completed several Western Pacific (West-Pac) deployments.
