As a Branch Fire Suppression Manager, I continued in my responsibility for Special Hazard Fire Suppression business development for new Kidde Fire Systems fire suppression systems, to include clean agents, High Pressure CO2, and Low Pressure CO2. I also am proficient with Firetrace systems and Det-Tronics flame and gas detection hardware.I also was responsible for developing the pre-engineered and fire extinguisher departments within the branch. I have experience with the Ansul, Amerex, and Buckeye pre-engineered product lines. This work included selling new kitchen hood suppression systems and industrial dry chemical systems, as well as fire extinguishers.My duties still included estimating, project coordination, facilitating the permit/approval of work, hiring subcontractors for installation, coordination of testing, progress billing and project closeout. Working with A&E firms to generate budgets and specifications for projects. Maintaining proficiency with requirements of NFPA and local AHJ's to help expedite project completion.I had a supervisory role over all employees of the branch including Service Sales, field ITM personnel, admin personnel, design personnel, and shop personnel. I was also responsible for any employee terminations, resignations, and new hires.I was responsible for meeting all financial expectations of the branch operations, including monthly financial review in relation to budget with upper management.
