Created and launched the Veterans' Program at Rose's Bounty to provide an abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables, frozen meats, breads, dairy and non-perishable items to homeless and disabled Veterans and their families, including a significant number of children. A committed core of community volunteers packs hundreds of food boxes for delivery every week.

Publish Coffee with Caryl, a weekly blog to build high-achieving Toastmasters clubs in District 31. Contributing author to Toastmaster Magazine, March 2024 issue. Led Division H to Distinguished status in 2022-2023. Led Area 94 to Distingushed status in 2021-2022. Awarded 2021 Club of the Year by District 31 and President's Distinguished Award by Toastmasters International during my Presidency. Created Meet Your Match!, a district-wide cross-club mentoring program to deepen members' experience, launched in 2022. Served as Co-Mentor to a newly chartered Club and Club Coach to an existing club in 2022. Captained the Club's first public live webinar in October 2020, The Art of Diplomatic Feedback, which attracted attendees from as far away as Nigeria! Led growth and development of membership by supporting individuals' goals to become polished public speakers. Earned the DTM, Pathfinder Award, Triple Crown, MS5, EC5, CC and CL awards.

BVM builds close-knit communities by producing publications that are delivered monthly to specifically-targeted subdivisions, communities, and villages that connect residents and give business owners a unique advertising campaign experience.

Led the first summer academic enrichment program in Massachusetts to make an unwavering long term commitment to local, low income children: For ten successive summers, Horizons students grow in skills and confidence by learning to swim, developing a stronger academic foundation, and through weekly field trips, gaining greater knowledge and understanding of the world around them. In Summer 2016, students increased their reading and math skills by 3.9 and 3.7 months respectively during the six-week program, a striking increase from 2015's national average of 2.0 months among 50 affiliated sites. The program effectively erased the "summer slide" and, instead, advanced students' academic skills over the summer months.

Led turnaround of Boston operation to provide over 700 children the opportunity to develop their literacy skills through one-on-one weekly read-aloud sessions delivered by 1,000 corporate volunteers during lunchtime at 16 local public elementary schools: Hired 14 staff and built a highly collaborative team; Rebuilt key corporate relationship, leading to sponsorship of program expansion into a new school; Identified barriers to long term growth and engaged Regional Board in tactical problem-solving.

Built and led the Development team and capacity-building efforts; Doubled and diversified revenues; Launched a sustainable funding program; Transitioned staff and systems through a nonprofit merger; Managed all fiscal responsibilities, including audit relationship and organizational and program budgets, for the largest school-based after school program serving 1,100 students annually in 21 Boston Public Schools.

Successfully navigated the 9/11 fiscal crisis and grew Institutional and Individual giving by 20%; Developed accessible information tracking systems; Co-authored a children's book as a product for sale for this resource and referral child care voucher agency.
