About Caryl Walling, Ph.D.

Caryl Walling is manager of the Digital University Solutions Training Team at Northeastern University. She manages staff across the globe at multiple campus locations who provide training to faculty, staff, students, and alumni on all technical tools and services the univesity provides. Caryl sets the standards for training across ITS and collaborates with other training groups across the organization to develop a cohesive and quality learner experience. She works in a collaborative team environment to effectively analyze institutional data and metrics to create user-friendly, professional learning programs. Caryl owns a small research/consulting business where she generates curriculum, asynchronous training opportunities (using Captivate, Articulate Storyline, and Camtasia) on a multitude of subjects. Caryl also serves as an International Scholar Laureate, a diplomatic position, which allows her to join ambassadorial delegations in the pursuit of quality international relations and diplomacy.Caryl works with the International Council of Professors of Educational Leadership as their marketing, membership, and finance director.
