I am a licensed occupational therapist for 35 years. I am employed with Vision Loss Resources as a Rehabilitation Instructor. I am introducing people to different techniques and ways to use technology to adjust to living with blindness and to develop skills for employment. I worked 11 years in Assisted Living setting with Lyngblomsten as Service & Activity Coordinator. As an occupational therapist, I worked in subacute rehabilitation settings, home health care and an out patient setting on-call with Struthers Parkinson's Center. I enjoy teaching, public speaking and leading groups. With my past work setting as a Service Coordinator with the Como Park Living at Home/Block Nurse Program, I won a statewide award Blue Cross/Blue Shield Champion of Health for work with older adults in the Como Park neighborhood and helping work with Lyngblomsten with The Gathering.
