I am an experienced Queensland registered primary school teacher and have over 10 years teaching experience. Throughout my career I have primarily taught Prep and Year 1, alongside providing learning support to children from Prep-Year 7.I currently work in the role of Senior Early Years Inclusion Consultant at Autism Queensland. Using a collaborative, flexible and individualised approach I work with early childhood educators to build their confidence and skills in inclusive practices to further support success for neurodivergent and autistic children. Support is provided through a variety of approaches including coaching, modelling, training, consultancy, professional development, environmental adjustments, and complex case management.Additionally, I have worked as a teacher in the Education Support and Therapy Services Team at Autism Queensland, supporting student needs within the school environment through collaborative school/parent meetings.Using my qualification in Training and Assessment, I have also worked in the role of Let's Count Facilitator for The Smith Family, training and strengthening the skills and confidence of early childhood educators to support parents with their children’s numeracy development.Additionally, I have a Bachelor of Computing Science and industry experience in the role of IT consultancy.
