I have 20 years of experience as a communications and media professional. I am primarily a writer, and I've written and ghostwritten both non-fiction and dramatic material for every medium, from action alerts and press releases, to articles, to books, to plays and screenplays. I also have mad technical skills including video production, editing, graphic design, and website building. I just finished work on Sisters in Freedom by History Making Productions, due out Fall 2018. I was the writer, and I produced and directed 44 expert interviews for this one-hour TV show about the amazing women of the Philadelphia Female Anti-Slavery Society. My activism is rooted in the feminist and environmental movements, and a deep belief in people power. As former president of the Pennsylvania state chapter of the National Organization for Women, I advocated for women's rights and social justice issues at the state level, and locally through our many chapters. Before that, I advocated for the Pennsylvania Association of Staff Nurses and Allied Professionals and Neighbors Allied for the Best Riverfront, a group dedicated to community-driven city planning.
