Since 1997, Caryn Smith is Principal/CEO of Driven By Design LLC, www.DrivenByDesign.net, a multi-service creative & publishing studio offering cutting-edge Print & Online Publishing, Marketing, and Brand Development. Services include: creative direction, brand development and management, editorial direction, graphic design, advertising sales, marketing and management, publication design & publishing services, web design, social media, as well as event marketing materials and signage and booth design a client’s meeting & show experiences. The strength of the company comes from Smith's 30+ years as a multi-award winning creative and publishing professional. She has a knack to develop untapped potential and produce high-end creative for the advancement of an organization, especially association membership-driven publications. Through the years, Smith has worked with over 20 magazine titles, and helped to publish several books.As a community leader, she is the Co-Founder, founding Board of Director, and former Vice-President of Valerie’s House, Inc. She also served on the Executive Committee of the Uncommon Friends Foundation Board of Directors, and on the "Uncommon Evening" fundraiser committee from 2015-2019, for which she was co-Chair in 2017 and Chair in 2018. She served on Calusa Nature Center & Planetarium's Board of Directors, and is a founding PR & Marketing Consultant for the Wildlife Education Project. From 2012-2016, she served as Co-Chair of the Advisory Board for Dress for Success SWFL and a founding Program Chair for their Entrepreneurial Spirit Program. She is a member of numerous organizations, including the American Society of Association Executives™ (ASAE).In other experience, Mrs. Smith was the CEO of Moody River Grille restaurant (Driven to Eat LLC) in North Fort Myers, a start-up concept, and CEO of Sunny Concepts LLC and Foster's Grille of Fort Myers LLC, under the Foster's Grille Concepts franchise restaurants.
