Within the Engagement team at the Auckland Project, I have taken a lead on all Informal Learning, from holiday activities to care homes. This role has involved work across multiple sites, including art galleries, archaeological sites and a Bishop's castle. Throughout this role I have initiated and led new projects, including setting up the successful Young Archaeologist's Club, joining in the national network led by the Council for British Archaeology.

This role was within the Operations Team, helping with various projects and departments, including; Education, Events, Volunteers, Estates and Community Engagement. A key part of my role was to assist the Education Officer with School Visits, including leading visits for up to 120 children in a day. This also involved tours for 30 children at a time, leading craft activities and designing a session for Year 11 students. This has also included helping to organise two Christmas Markets with over 8.000 visitors each year, and being responsible for around 50 stallholders. I also organised a Trail Race, attended by over 300 competitors and additional spectators. In this team I recognised the need to be flexible, organised and a definite team player. I also greatly expanded my skills with children and young people, and how to engage them in heritage in a meaningful way.

The leader of a union of students based in St John's College Durham (JCR), I was responsible for an executive committee and a large range of volunteers. As President of a registered charity, the role included representing undergraduates, postgraduates, and students of Cranmer Hall; an Anglican and Methodist theological training college. This role required leadership, patience, and an energetic demeanour in order to maintain progress and enthusiasm within the JCR, as well as tackling day-to-day tasks.

As Vice-President of the College's JCR I sat on the board of trustees, which is responsible for the legal and financial status of the charity. This role required me to attend regular meetings in order to protect and ensure continued improvement of student experiences in Durham, both in daily practical and long term strategic senses
