In this role I have been given the responsibility of driving and executing delegate campaign strategies, and delivering event growth. I have taken ownership and oversight of omni-channel delegate campaigns, ensuring that they meet business objectives, deadlines, and target KPI’s. I am also responsible for generating and evaluating a campaigns effectiveness, using social media channels to promote events, and responding to incoming enquiries regarding my projects. Working extensively with the Customer Relationship Management system and responsible for maintaining existing data, I have been gaining valuable administrative experience; including the creation and recording of delegate information and managing mass email communications across multiple campaigns. With strong research capabilities and effective time management, this role has required me to prioritise tasks efficiently, collaborating seamlessly within a team while maintaining a competitive edge. My ability to adapt to unfamiliar cultures and marketplaces, ensures flexibility and competence in diverse settings.

Save Bonds Meadow is a grassroots initiative that was founded in response to the attempted sale of Bonds Meadow, three acres of rewilded maturing woodland, by the National Trust to a housing developer. Our aim is to protect Bonds Meadow, which is a vital carbon sink and a habitat for protected species, from destruction and to conserve it for future generations. As part of my work for Save Bonds Meadow, I have been responsible for managing social media accounts and promoting our petition. I have gained experience in fundraising, as well as liaising with other members of the community and the local authority. Being involved with Save Bonds Meadow has given me an in depth insight into how a campaign like this is run, and has given me the opportunity to develop my passion for conservation work.

Tier 2, Tier 3, and Isolation Support Call Handler. In this role I was constantly presented with new information to learn, and new situations to deal with. I had to adapt rapidly to the changing needs of a job role that didn’t even exist months before I started it, and I was retrained to work on a number of different workstreams so that I could be flexible and step in wherever I was needed. I learnt how to work through a virtual desktop and communicate and foster team spirit with a group of people who I never actually met in person. I gained a huge amount of call handling experience, and I learnt how to work and forge understanding with difficult and uncooperative contacts. I now have experience in securely collecting and handling personal data, as well as working with a variety of different systems and services, including a translation service for members of the public who do not speak English. I also learnt how to recognise and deal with safeguarding issues, and how to talk to, comfort, and empathise with people going through some of the most difficult periods in their lives.
