Within the subject of my thesis - Corporate Social Responibility and Sustainability in the Dutch Cultural Sector - I got the opportunity to gain inside knowledge on how a small organization operates in this sector. During half a year on a one-day-per-week schedule I gathered theoretical data (through e.g. interviews) for my thesis research while at the same time I analyzed and proposed practical possibilities for the organization regarding CSR and Sustainability (e.g. on the utilization of roof top solar panels).

Creating and maintaining a hospitable setting for visitors of the theatre through a welcome at the cloakroam, waiting and bartending at the café or other bar locations and keeping the place clean and comfortable.

Buff Bay, Jamaica

To finish my bachelor study at Wageningen UR I did a combined thesis-internship and spent a few months in Jamaica. Supervised by the Coffee Industry Board I interviewed coffee farmers about their experiences with climate change and consequent changes in rainfall. I summarized the results and conclusions in my bachelor thesis.
