I draft appeal letters with medical documentation attached to file with the insurance to have a denied claim overturned. I fix claims that have been denied due to modifier, diagnosis code, HCPCs codes and any other errors needing to be fixed. Patients are another big part of my job at Brightree. I call patients to update their demographics such as their date of birth, name, insurance information, and any other information needed. Calling patients in regards to their balances due is another part of my job.
