I joined BRWArchitects upon receiving my masters degree, and it is there that I gained a tremendous amount of experience working closely with my supervisors in a way that is sometimes only possible in small firms. A wide range of responsibilities helped me complete my IDP and successfully pass the ARE to become a registered architect as of January 2012.I.

I participated in all phases of design and construction from schematics to specification writing and construction administration. I provided graphic and 3d modeling support for the office. I provided support and guidance to the office during it's transition from DataCAD to Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit software.

I worked at FPW Architects as a summer architectural intern between my two years of graduate school. I was very generously exposed to a wide range of architectural duties from schematic design, architectural rendering, construction administration, to client design meetings.

I spent two summers during undergraduate school working as a construction laborer on an adaptive reuse project, transforming a vacant subdivided mixed-use structure into a single-family home over two loft-style residential rental units. I performed many duties from refinishing trim, demolition, construction, to managing co-workers in my boss's absence..
