Growing up, I was constantly captivated by the art of construction—whether it was building treehouses, chicken coops, or skate ramps. My early fascination led me to dive deep into research and even catch shows like How It’s Made on the Science Channel. Despite spending a few years in the criminal justice software industry (thanks, Mom and Dad!), I eventually followed my passion into the world of construction.Starting as a laborer on large condo projects, I immersed myself in every aspect of the construction process. As I gained experience in general contracting, I felt the pull towards the electrical trade. A fortuitous connection through a friend opened the door to an apprenticeship, and I eagerly embraced the challenge. The more I learned, the more I wanted to know, discovering that in this field, there’s always something new to master.Fast forward 12 years, and I’m proud to call the electrical field my arena. From lighting design to switchgear and smart home solutions, I've worn many hats, collaborating with technology subcontractors and providing expert field engineering. I've had the privilege of contributing to many projects at the University of Utah, Utah Valley University, and Brigham Young University, both as a subcontractor and prime contractor.Currently, I'm focused on creating perfectly lit, collaborative, connected spaces in upscale, custom homes along the Wasatch Back.
