I provided direct case management in relation to 36 scholars who received special education services in middle school during the 2023-2024 school year. I collected, analyzed, and reviewed data to keep track of mastery of goals set for the term/duration of the support plan. I scheduled and conducted weekly meetings with team members to discuss student support, allocate resources, and address team concerns, thereby enhancing support for teachers and parents. As a member of a multidisciplinary team, I organized and led meetings for special education eligibility evaluations. During my internship, I supported the school social worker across three schools, gaining hands-on experience with Individual Education Plans (IEPs), 504 plans, and assessments such as the Vineland and Behavior Assessment Scale (BASC-3).
