- Dealt over the phone for IG’s biggest clients globally.- I was a 'one stop shop' for premium clients. That is, for any IG premium trader, for any issues or questions they may have had, they would come to me, as the face of premium clients at IG. I would then often go to internal IG departments, to help work with, find and provide a solution for the premium client(s).- Organised and oversaw premium client events with IG’s most valuable clients across Australia. These ranged from coffee meetings to group sporting events, group roundtable dinner discussions, trading seminars and webinars, to name a few.- Discovered new business opportunities, from premium client referrals. Since 2019 this includes: More than 50 brand new, funded clients and a very large institutional client also.- Reactivated valuable clients who haven’t traded for more than 12 months. This involved getting anunderstanding of why they left IG and/or CFD trading in general, then overcoming these obstacles and objections, to enable them to trade with IG once more.

- After passing IG's internal dealing test in early 2016 I was promoted to Sales Trader, where I was then better able to service more actively-trading clients.- Quoted clients live tradable prices over the phone. Placed trades into the market and let the dealing desk know of any exposure issues. Frequently seen as a point of escalation for client disputes, and crystallised market exposure where necessary.- Reported potential compliance issues and wrong / outdated information on the website promptly.- Ensured platform and internal system problems identified were recorded, escalated and relevant teams were notified in a timely manner.- During my time as Sales Trader at IG I also did a stint in a conversion and retention role, which helped improve my commercial awareness and engagement skills on the phone with clients.- I also frequently worked overtime in this role, to assist in pricing our weekend indices and cryptocurrencies. This provided me with invaluable insights as to how the markets move around headline events and market-based news.- Oversaw twitter for APAC, ensuring tweets were replied to in a timely fashion during APAC hours.- Kept an ear out constantly for more junior staff’s inbound client calls, to ensure that only correct information was given out and tone of voice standards were maintained.

Advice areas include Centrelink, Insurance, Superannuation and TTR, to name a few. - Calculated and modelled various financial situations, often using complex modelling software.
