Medical Service Officer-Platoon Leader- 1LTResponsibilities: Include, but are not limited to: 1.) 8 years of Military Service: Medical Administrative studies via (BOLC) Basic Officer Leadership Course 2.) Commissioned Officer from Edinboro University's ROTC program, Platoon Leader for Medical Ambulance Company; In charge of 30-40 soldier medics and millions of dollars of medical and combat equipment, and Prior Training Officer: Organization/coordination of training/staff meetings and medical training events3.) For 8 years provided- Administrative/ Clerical support and duties to higher level management: performing duties such as: utilizing knowledge of correspondence requirements preparing in final format memos, letters, meeting notes, agendas, etc. while assisting the unit administrator during drill weekends and two- week annual training events. (Totaling about around 16-24 hours a month and about 112 hours per- annual two-week training event).4.) Implements administrative plans, policies and procedures established by the commander5.) Preparation and processing of personnel, pay and supply actions, maintenance of records and files, preparation of training schedules and compilation of recurring and one-time reports, drafts replies to general inquiries 6.)
