I have privilege to lead a diverse team of software developers, SCRUM masters, and quality engineers that make up multiple Agile SCUM teams. I work with team members in multiple US locations, Mexico, and India. I am responsible for building business relationships and understanding vision, people development, and resource management and planning. In addition I manage delivery of a multi-million dollar budget across platforms, applications, and lines of business. I work with multiple accountable executives and peer managers from a separate location, and effectively leverage personal networks to empower teams to increase speed, flexibility, and quality of delivered solutions.

Leads other developers in developing and maintaining USAA’s mobile native applications. Gives oversight to production standards, hardening efforts, and architectural direction for Bank iPhone, iPad, Android, and mobile.usaa.com channels. Works with business partners, designers, service providers, and core systems to create a solid, industry leading, mobile experience.

Develop and maintain multiple iOS applications. Applications supported utilize json APIs, custom camera implementations, accelerometer, and multi-level authentication schemes. Specific applications supported are the USAA iPhone App, USAA iPad App, and other special member preview demo apps. Experienced in supporting production, providing prototypes, as well as developing in waterfall and agile development methodologies.

Maintained and wrote JCL scripts and programs in COBOL. Environment contained standard batch as well as online CICS transactions, VSAM, GDGs, Websphere MQ, NDM, FTP and many other zOS related technologies. Also briefly supported some aspects of Fidelity IM and ALS.

Developed and maintained sites utilizing HTML, CSS, flash, SQL, and Coldfusion technologies.
