The center consists of several separate but interrelated functions, including fundamental research, regulatory affairs, manufacturing and process development, correlative and data science, and clinical trials.• Oversee the hiring, financial support, and performance management for 35 staff • Collaborate across all Stanford Medicine entities to develop the infrastructure and resources needed to support the research and clinical trials of the Center for Cancer Cell Therapy• Responsible for financial oversight of all sponsored research, philanthropy, and other funds for the Center and PICI• Represent Stanford as the Site Administrator for the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy• Collaborate with faculty to develop the research pipeline and translate that into projections for manufacturing, patient enrollment, and long-term strategic plans• Amplify the value of the Center through preeminence measures, research impact, clinical trial activity, financial contribution to clinical enterprise, and overall return on investment• Develop pathways and systems for continuous operational improvement through communication, reporting, and performance measures
