Provide architectural hardware consulting services to architects including:-Maintain, grow, and develop architectural accounts with excellent reputation of competence and service.-Write Division 087100 - Architectural Door Hardware specifications for over 120 projects a year and manage those projects through the design/construction cycle.-Coordinate door hardware with other divisions including access control and MEP to verify correct products are specified and scope is correct.-Assist architects and owners with questions on fire codes, ADA accessibility, and occupancy requirements in regards to door hardware and egress.-Assist with RFI's or other changes with scope of work.-Provide AIA Boxed Lunch presentations to architects on topics ranging from basic hardware, electronic access control, and codes and safety.-Review submittals for compliance with specification.-Develop and present national presentations on ICC500 tornado rated doors and hardware. National expert on subject.
