I sit on a two-person team that is formulating Altus Power's strategy to expand operations globally. I have researched, modeled, and drafted investment memos for clean energy investments in the following markets: CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, HI, IL, MA, MD, ME, MN, NJ, NM, NY, OH, PA, RI, VA, France, Germany, Portugal, and the United Kingdom. I coordinated and submitted RFP or community solar application response packages in the following markets: Hawaii, Illinois (awarded approximately 20 MWs), Maryland, and New Mexico. I aided in the documentation review and negotiation and led the financial modeling underpinning a platform and portfolio acquisition. I am currently serving as the dedicated onboarding manager for the acquired team. I am spearheading the underwriting, researching, and negotiating of Altus’ land acquisition strategy for assets underneath solar projects. To date, I have underwritten, negotiated, and closed on over 50 MWs (and researched over 1.1 GWs) worth of solar, storage, and EV charging opportunities.

I was the fifth employee (part-time) at this fast-growing clean energy marketing startup. I helped pioneer the marketing firm’s new market research reports, specifically gathering all relevant data for the policy and business EV reports which are being updated quarterly by the team. Alongside these projects, I produced communication deliverables for the firm’s clean energy clients, including blogs, website material, and marketing content.

I worked as a winter mentee for Nassau Street Ventures, Alumni Ventures Group’s Princeton-focused venture capital firm. I conducted investment research projects in the food technology, hydrogen fuel cell, marketing technology, and cyber security industries. I presented due diligence to partners at the firm and members of the mentorship team and updated the venture capital firm's investment pipeline.

I was a Leonard D. Schaeffer Fellow in Government Service and an intern with the USDA Forest Service Southern Research Station's Science Communication team. I investigated scientific research produced from the Forest Service, interviewed scientists about their research and communicated the diverse science topics to the stakeholders of the Forest Service. I completed two additional deliverables while an intern, including 1) updating an internal search system to incorporate experimental forests and 2) developing a science synthesis report regarding catastrophic disturbances in stream environments since 2000.

I conducted independent research with guidance by world-renowned Professor of Paleontology and Geology Gerta Keller. I analyzed sediments to collect chemical and sedimentological data regarding climate change and its relation to the KT boundary and Earth’s fifth known mass (dinosaur) extinction. The work undertaken during this summer internship turned into a year-long research project which culminated in an academic paper. This paper was then submitted to my department following a poster presentation discussing my results.

I served as a strategy and sustainability consultant for Emzingo. I worked specifically with Alternative Peru, a local, sustainable tourism company to: 1) compile data on Peruvian tourism industry from multiple information outlets, 2) conduct surveys and interviews with potential partners and clients, and 3) analyze and enhance marketing techniques. These steps culminated in the formation of two new tour designs marketed for 18-30-year-old tourists visiting Peru.
