More than 25 years experience in various fields of manufacturing. I have been a key team member or managed a team in starting, relocating or closing manufacturing plants from 12k ft² to 300k ft². Provided manufacturing layout, process flow, equipment specifications and contract execution for new projects, work areas and entire facilities. Developed new products through team effort and provided prototypes to prove viability, ability to manufacture, and develop costing. Managed Cost Reduction program for 12 facilities. I have conducted design and build projects with in-house resources. I use various project tools such as FMEA, Solidworks, ACAD, 6S and Lean as needed. Solicit capital projects for review and provide feedback or submit for executive approvals. Annually compile capital budget and work with a team to look at long term strategy for major projects and where focus of efforts should be. I also conduct my own project cost analysis and capital requests for cradle to grave execution of projects. Work locations have been across the USA, Malaysia (Johor Bahru), MIddle East and China (Shanghai; Quzhou) I enjoy the challenges of new projects that deliver a profitable product, a productive work center or an efficient facility. I am a hands-on engineer that enjoys working with or directing a team of professionals and technicians that are results oriented, without cutting corners.One last thing............every process needs a good Kaizen event!
