I run a company that provides educational support to parents and professionals working with and supporting Pathologically Demand Avoidant (PDA) children and teens. We provide education, coaching, and evidence-based strategies for caregiving and parenting a neurodivergent child with a hypersensitive threat response and nervous system. Trauma-informed and neuro-inclusive workplace. Currently conducting the first peer-reivewed research on PDA in children and teens in the United States with the University of Michigan's medical school.

Creating resources and supportive community to empower and validate parents of Pathologically Demand Avoidant (PDA) Autistic children, a diagnostic category not yet recognized in the United States. Launched the first podcast about parenting PDA Autistic children using a radically different approach than the current behavioral modification-premised paradigm in the United States.

As the Senior Manager of Research, I serve as the central node for guidance on - and implementation of - Pew's research standards and processes. This includes outreach and communication with Pew staff at all levels of the institution to ensure that Pew's research products are methodologically sound, unbiased, and error-free. To accomplish this mission, I lead the Trusts' research review processes, in support of nearly 50 research teams and in protection of Pew's reputation as an unbiased and rigorous research institution. My primary duties include: (1) review of written research plans and contract documents prior to research and/or contract initiation; (2) oversight of all methods review meetings and review of written methodology plans; (3) supervision of data checks, fact checks, and external review; (4) provision of methodological expertise to project teams or the assignment of a senior methodologist to provide support; and (5) direct outreach and communication to different departments such as Legal, Contracts and Procurement, Operations, Communications, and the Executive Office. I directly supervise two senior methodologists (an epidemiologist and an environmental toxicologist), an associate manager, and a research coordinator.

As the Manager of the research review and support team I oversaw a team of three research assistants, a research coordinator, a senior methodologist, and seven contract fact-checkers to ensure that all research produced by the Trusts was methodologically sound, unbiased, and error-free. In June of 2017, I helped to lead and oversee the expansion of Pew's research review process to include all environmental conservation work, as well as contracted and granted out work, without additional staff. Ensuring that we continued to be a service-oriented unit while maintaining the the quality of our work, earned me an "ACE - Achievement of Consistent Excellence" award and a promotion to Senior Manager in April of 2018.

- Developed an original research agenda and managed a six-year research project; wrote a book manuscript offering strategies to improve operational issues in international peace programming. - Used a mixed methodological approach to develop and test hypotheses, collect data, and conduct a rigorous analysis of local peacebuilding outcomes in a rural region of Colombia. - Conducted 250 semi-structured interviews with U.S. and Colombian scholars, journalists, NGO workers, village residents, ex-combatants, and displaced persons in Colombia; also carried out an original survey, archival research, and ethnographic and participant observation activities.- Used inductive and deductive reasoning to evaluate causal relationships between conflict and post-conflict dynamics; tested hypotheses using econometric models.- Wrote and won 11 grant proposals to fund field research abroad; managed a budget of $100K. - Planned and managed intercultural visits of Colombian government and non-profit leaders to Washington, D.C., including presentations at the U.S. State Department, U.S. Institute of Peace, the Colombian Embassy, George Mason University, and the City of Hyattsville, Maryland.

- Wrote proposal and won contract for the City of Cleveland’s 10-Year Strategic Plan for economic and environmental sustainability. - Conducted a $40M Inter-American Development Bank project on Value Chain Analysis in Ecuador.- Planned and managed six workshops for 50+ university professors, industry experts, business owners, and international development experts in Loja, Ecuador. - Developed and managed partnerships with project stakeholders, including local governments, public and private universities, and local software and tech companies in Loja Ecuador.

- Designed a customized course and planned curriculum on international relations for professional and undergraduate students at Columbia University, Hamilton College and Tufts University.- Co-wrote strategy paper advising Vice-President Joe Biden on U.S.-foreign policy toward Iran.

- Synthesized complex ideas while instructing 100+ graduate students in applied statistics. - Supervised three graduate research assistants; organized and led weekly meetings to discuss scheduling, work flow and, when needed, led conflict resolution. - Handled all communication with graduate students and served as the primary liaison with faculty and university administrators.

- Conducted a year-long study to assess a microfinance program for displaced women.- Interviewed government officials, industry experts, and Colombian universities. - Synthesized findings and offered solutions to improve the company’s program implementation.

- Conducted a three-month field study assessing the provision and use of microfinance loans to low-income female clients in both rural and urban areas of Mexico and Ecuador. - Implemented a survey with 250 clients and synthesized findings to present at headquarters.- Presented recommendations to improve the effective use of microfinance loans among women.

- Designed curriculum, developed course materials and taught graduate students and undergraduates at the University of Rio Cuarto, Cordoba. - Conducted training for 30 professors using U.S. Embassy materials.
