This includes outreach and communication with Pew staff at all levels of the institution to ensure that Pew's research products are methodologically sound, unbiased, and error-free. To accomplish this mission, I lead the Trusts' research review processes, in support of nearly 50 research teams and in protection of Pew's reputation as an unbiased and rigorous research institution. My primary duties include: (1) review of written research plans and contract documents prior to research and/or contract initiation; (2) oversight of all methods review meetings and review of written methodology plans; (3) supervision of data checks, fact checks, and external review; (4) provision of methodological expertise to project teams or the assignment of a senior methodologist to provide support; and (5) direct outreach and communication to different departments such as Legal, Contracts and Procurement, Operations, Communications, and the Executive Office. I directly supervise two senior methodologists (an epidemiologist and an environmental toxicologist), an associate manager, and a research coordinator.

In June of 2017, I helped to lead and oversee the expansion of Pew's research review process to include all environmental conservation work, as well as contracted and granted out work, without additional staff. Ensuring that we continued to be a service-oriented unit while maintaining the the quality of our work, earned me an "ACE - Achievement of Consistent Excellence" award and a promotion to Senior Manager in April of 2018.
