Learning Technologies Manager
CurrentEssential Duties and Responsibilities:• Provides Tier II support for LMS (Learning Management System) concerns, issues, and questions for faculty, staff, and administrators.• Main contact between the institution and LMS support structure. • Provides communication/coordination between the WSU Tech network and LMS• Performs Instructional Technology Training tasks including but not limited to: o Provides Tier II LMS support for faculty. o Provides just-in-time LMS training for faculty, students and customized training clients. o Teaches faculty how to effectively utilize and integrate the LMS in a variety of delivery modalities including face-to-face, web-enhanced, and online. o Teaches faculty on how to effectively utilize instructional technologies that integrate with the LMS. o Develop/maintain a library of course and instructional materials for the third-party instructional technologies that integrate with the LMS.• Performs Project Management related to the implementation of learning technologies.• Troubleshoots and manages third-party applications and instructing including integration, administration, and reporting for the college.• Performs Quality Assurance tasks including but not limited to: o Researches and provides ideas for continuous improvement of the department.• Performs other duties as assigned.
