Having previously provided support for the $75M USAID-funded Malawi Next Generation Early-Grade Reading Activity, the $25M USAID-funded Tanzania Heshimu Bahari project, and the $19M USAID-funded Kenya Cross-Border Community Resilience (CBCR) Activity-Backstop project staff by preparing USAID approval requests, reviewing, writing, and editing reports and deliverables, assisting with local recruitment and onboarding/off-boarding efforts including interviews, reviewing resumes, project office salary determination reviews, and employment agreements-Support the project office with grant efforts including reviewing RFAs, budgets, and grant packages prior to submission to USAID. Having supported the review of twelve grants packages that were approved by USAID-Co-manage financial compliance oversight by reviewing project office expenses to ensure compliance with USAID rules and regulations, regularly making updates to the project budget, including forecasting and entering actuals, and reviewing USAID invoices to ensure accuracy in accordance with contract terms-Manage relationships with project subcontractors, including reviewing and processing invoices-Support hiring and on-boarding of TCN and Expat staff, including drafting offer letters and employment agreements, processing HHE forms, and determining allowances-New business experience includes supporting 4 live bids through PPRs, CV writing, cost preparer research, and PPR mentor-Serve in an acting manager capacity as needed-Provide home office surge support for the USAID-funded Tanzania Lishe project start-up

o Planned and executed small and large scale USO programs to bring USO services to service members and their families in the field. **Assignment was cut short due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and the global evacuation of all volunteers o Planned, organized, and ran a weeklong World AIDS Day campaign at local University. Campaign included a survey among students, creation and distribution of HIV prevention informational material, free HIV testing for students, guest speakers, and an art exhibit showcasing the epidemic in Ukraine. Over 600 Ukrainian and international students participated in the event.o Led proposal development and project implementation for the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)-funded projects, including management of grant funds and grant close-out.o In coordination with local NGO, planned an Oblast-wide advocacy campaign aimed at obtaining funding for support groups for HIV affected youth. o Copy-edited reports and documents for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Ukraine.o Planned, directed, and provided hands-on leadership, coaching, and facilitation of camps and support groups for HIV infected and affected youth. o Working alongside Ukrainian counterparts, supported development of project and proposal tools in English and Ukrainian.o Translated & wrote proposals for potential new projects, allowing 100% Life to have access to more funding opportunities. o Led capacity building for project beneficiaries through a native language exchange series as well as career development workshops. o Liaised with in-country PEPFAR and other donor stakeholders to ensure collaboration and to avoid duplication of services.o Organized a weekly English workshop through the U.S. State Department sponsored Windows on America program, which allowed locals to practice their English with a native speaker.
