As a High Sheriff 'Inspiring Others' award winner I am highly passionate and invested in making a difference to the lives of Young People, particularly in the Care System. This passion has been channeled through my involvement in the development of the National Care Leavers Covenant, collaboratively working with Barclays Life Skills to improve financial education and literacy amongst young people in care and regularly delivering training to professionals and senior leaders from a variety of social care sectors. Im a confident, regular public speaker, most recently speaking at the Westminster Education Forum on 'Improving Support and Outcomes for Care Leavers' in January 2020 with the ability to adapt for different audiences and themes. I currently hold a BSc Psychology Degree and am undertaking an Msc in Occupational Psychology, with an interest in training and development as well as how the workplace can be made inclusive and accessible for people from all backgrounds. I have a number well established skills and qualities, including great interpersonal skills, communication skills and research skills. Dedicated, strong-willed and extremely hard working, I take great pride in producing high quality work and being innovative in my ideas.
