We do projects for a purpose.By Ed is working hard to make our community more inclusive.Some of the ways we do this are:We write and publish Easy Read books with and for adults with disability.We advocate to make 'Easy Read' a genre. This will mean that you can get easy to read books at the library and bookshop. It will also mean we can include Easy Read events on mainstream programs like writer's festivals.We host Plot Play. Plot Play is a story club for adults with disability who find reading and writing hard. Contact us if you want help to start your own Plot Play accessible story club.We have an Easy Read service. We work with writers and businesses. We turn your stories and documents into the Easy Read format. This will make your work accessible to new audiences.

As an arts practitioner with disability I work with Accessible Arts NSW on various projects relating to disability, access and the arts, using my expertise for various projects that we are involved with, with the aim of making the arts across NSW more accessible.For example:1. Have contributed to venue ‘walk throughs’ auditing galleries and programs forperformance from an access perspective.2. Formed part of focus groups looking at arts and culture policy through the lens of accessibility.3. Guest speaker.

Accessibility means more than physical access. I am trying to redefine 'accessibility' to include engagement or enjoyment factor which is just as important. On #CripSchedule ByED (Casey) will be promoting the work of artists who take the time to consider how people with different accessibility needs can enjoy their work all while developing a range of resources on creative means to make work accessible.2. Established myself as an Easy Read content specialist who is pioneering Easy Read as a leisure genre for adults with disability who find reading and writing difficult.
