Intervention Community Corrections Services
• Responsible for community supervision of assigned caseload of clients convicted of various felony offenses that are sentenced to community corrections. • Assessments of each client using Colorado Standard Offender AssessmentRevised (SOAR) which included the Level of Supervision Inventory (LSI)• Used assessments and court orders to create supervision plans, which addressed and mitigated client risk to include drug/alcohol monitoring, employment, treatment programs, substance abuse, family issues, financial concerns and mental health needs.• Tracked client progression through weekly meetings, treatment reports, employment verifications, management of finances and results of drug and alcohol monitoring tests.• Conducted monthly review of client progress to include supervision plan and made adjustments as case developments indicated.• Use of increased supervision techniques such as passive and active global positioning systems (GPS) on highrisk clients. Conducted periodic and daily reviews of GPS based on client risk. Set exclusion zones on GPS units to ensure victim safety and compliance with supervision plans.• Ensured that all client files, supervision plans and documentation of client progression were in compliance with the Division of Criminal Justice standards.• Use of intermediate sanctions when noncompliance with court orders or supervision plans was discovered. Provided recommendations on client termination from community corrections when continued non-compliance or serious and community safety related violations occurred. • Prepared court documents for court and District Attorney as required by case developments.• Use of training such as Motivational Interviewing, interviewing techniques, crisis intervention and supervision of domestic violence and sex offender populations.
